Graphics are applied in a process called tampo printing they’re tapped or pressed onto an item with a soft-tipped, automated arm/finger. Finer details, like a figure's eyes, are painted, while larger areas of the figure, like legs in pants, are molded in a certain color plastic, and details are applied in paint. “During this stage, we are developing deco based on painstaking review of reference,” Smith says. In the past, we would go through a lot of wax stages, but everything created for Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series has been done digitally, which makes the process more fluid.” During this period, the team is in constant contact with Lucasfilm for input and approvals at each stage of the figure’s development.Īfter the final digital sculpt is approved, the team develops a “tooling copy”-an initial prototype of what will hopefully be the final functioning action figure, and which serves as a blueprint for the final figure-with its Hong Kong-based factory. “We’ve also moved to a completely digital sculpt environment. “This is a close partnership that consists of a lot of back and forth and attention to the small details,” Smith says. Here we work closely with Lucasfilm to ensure we are replicating the approved, on-canon elements.”Īfter determining how much articulation the figure will have and deciding on its features and accessories, all the information the team gathered goes to the sculptors, who develop a model. In some cases, there are so many images and pieces of reference out there that you start to notice subtle differences in features, accessories, etc. “Instead we refer back to the many on-set photos, film screen shots, and Lucasfilm-approved reproduction art. “Many of the classic archival items are based on image turns rather than 3D scans or renderings since the costumes are delicate and, in most cases, require a person to be in them to capture the images,” Smith says. Usually, that means amassing as many photos of the character and its accessories as possible to ensure film-level accuracy. No matter which character they’re making a figure of, the team always starts by gathering reference.

IF you have any of the single player campaigns DLC's installed (pirates of the flying fortress, POFF/call of the tenebrae, COTT/shatered embrace, SE) after adding your Two Worlds II cdkey you can add the DLC CDKeys, it's ask for the keys in succession (POFF/COTT/SE) (pirates of the flying fortress is the first additional KEY it'll ask for, but wont ask for the cdkey by it's name "POFF", which can be confusing as it just looks like the clients not registered the base game key, the other DLC keys it'll ask for by name) once you've passed the key input box, then uncheck register now and click internet activation, which will add the cdkey (serial key/registration key) lines into the registry, which is the important bit. And you need to "DOUBLE LEFT CLICK on OK" when adding CDkeys within the Two Worlds II client (as it's a bit bugged and the first click wont register). Start the client, add the CDKey for Two Worlds II. (right click, Two Worlds II from your Steam library ->manage->CD Keys to get access to your game licence codes (you can leave the cdkey box open and "alt+tab" to task switch between the cdkeys and the Two Worlds II client. Patch 2.0.5 is a patch prior to the DRM being removed which will let you manually add your Steam cdkeys to get the client started without the "activation waiting for steam purchase key" error message from the 2.07.3 patchĭownload and install (it needs to be executed from the same drive as two worlds II install) The problem is Steams issued cdkeys are not being taken up by the new automated CDkey input method with the Two Worlds II client running the 2.07.3 Steam patch (see note at bottom of the page) If you're a professional, you can also use ear training to improve your earning power. At its simplest, being able to follow someone else's music note‑for‑note is pretty damn impressive, especially when you suddenly find you can play it yourself. You'll hear details and relationships you weren't aware of before. With a trained ear, a mush of chords, backing and vocals snaps into sharper focus. If you make music for fun, ear training can give you a better appreciation of how music works and how it's put together. And if you do, the new skills you acquire will pay you back in spades. You can make a similar investment in your ability to listen. What not so many people realise is that making music happen is only half the story. Anyone knows that learning to play music - or, if you're a synth and sequencer fan, learning to program music - requires a big investment in time and enthusiasm. Unless you're classically trained or ridiculously talented from birth, the chances are good that your ears aren't used to listening to things and picking them apart. But the chord sequencing option comes closest to teaching you how to listen closely to real music and pick it apart.īut exactly how good are your ears? It's a fact of life that having a good musical ear makes for easier and more creative music‑making. When it comes to ear training, this is not the pick of the crop. If you like listening to it, you like music, and you have some form of musical ability, even if it's more passive (receptive) than active, as in a great songwriter or composer. The simple truth is that if you like listening to music, you're musical it doesn't matter if it's Radio One or Classic FM, the Spice Girls or some obscure academic composer most people have never heard of. Push them a little and it inevitably turns out that they have huge CD collections, or that they couldn't imagine life without music from the radio. I'm perpetually amazed by the number of people I meet who say 'Oh, I'm not at all musical' when I tell them I make music. Richard Leon explains the skills involved, and rounds up some software which can help you improve in this area. Ear training - learning to intuitively recognise note intervals, chords and progressions, and even absolute pitches - is something that many musicians could benefit from, although few actually attempt it. When you open a pull request, you're proposing your changes and requesting that someone review and pull in your contribution and merge them into their branch. Pull requests are the heart of collaboration on GitHub. Now that you have changes in a branch off of main, you can open a pull request. These changes will be made only to the README file on your readme-edits branch, so now this branch contains content that's different from main. In the Commit changes box, write a commit message that describes your changes. In the editor, write a bit about yourself. Under the readme-edits branch you created, click the README.md file. Commit messages capture the history of your changes so that other contributors can understand what you’ve done and why. Each commit has an associated commit message, which is a description explaining why a particular change was made. On GitHub, saved changes are called commits. You can make and save changes to the files in your repository. When you created a new branch in the previous step, GitHub brought you to the code page for your new readme-edits branch, which is a copy of main. Next you'll add changes to the new branch. Now you have two branches, main and readme-edits. Click Create branch: readme-edits from main.Type a branch name, readme-edits, into the text box.Click the drop down at the top of the file list that says main.Click the Code tab of your hello-world repository. When a change is ready, they merge their branch into main. Here at GitHub, our developers, writers, and designers use branches for keeping bug fixes and feature work separate from our main (production) branch. Have you ever saved different versions of a file? Something like:īranches accomplish similar goals in GitHub repositories. The journey that feature takes before it's merged into main.If someone else made changes to the main branch while you were working on your branch, you could pull in those updates. When you create a branch off the main branch, you're making a copy, or snapshot, of main as it was at that point in time. You can use branches to experiment and make edits before committing them to main. The work done on different branches will not show up on the main branch until you merge it, which we will cover later in this guide. This is helpful when you want to add new features to a project without changing the main source of code. You can use branches to have different versions of a project at one time. You can create additional branches off of main in your repository. Select whether your repository will be Public or Private.īranching lets you have different versions of a repository at one time.īy default, your repository has one branch named main that is considered to be the definitive branch. In the Description box, write a short description. In the Repository name box, enter hello-world. In the upper-right corner of any page, use the drop-down menu, and select New repository. Your hello-world repository can be a place where you store ideas, resources, or even share and discuss things with others. GitHub also offers other common options such as a license file, but you do not have to select any of them now. GitHub lets you add a README file at the same time you create your new repository. You can use this cheat sheet to get started with Markdown syntax. README files are written in the plain text Markdown language. Often, repositories include a README file, a file with information about your project. Repositories can contain folders and files, images, videos, spreadsheets, and data sets - anything your project needs. Creating a repositoryĪ repository is usually used to organize a single project. If you have a question about any of the expressions used in this guide, head on over to the glossary to find out more about our terminology. You don't need to know how to code, use the command line, or install Git (the version control software that GitHub is built on). To complete this tutorial, you need a GitHub account and Internet access.

Sometimes they speak during the moves from one part of the stage to the other so i don't want the sound to change in one step, i need a fade. So when an actor move from one part of the stage to another (which is not to often since basically there is 3 parts on the stage and mostly when they go from one to the other, they stay there for a while) i need the sound to follow them. If he's on the center, i need the sound to come from the center speaker. If the actor 1 is on the left, i want the sound to come mainly from the left speaker. I need the sound of each actors coming from the place he is. I have 2 actors on stage with lavalier microphones and 3 speakers : left, center and right. > Micpool : Here is the description of what i need to be done. Knowing the practical outcome the poster wishes to achieve is easier than tackling everything as a pure engineering problem. Often there is a much simpler method of achieving something which will have the same subjective result for an audience than a solution that is more complete and universally applicable in engineering terms. Knowing why someone wants to do what they are just describing as a sequence of engineering events is often part of finding solutions in applying technology for artistic ends. I think there is a big difference between an objective description of the way you want 2 program's to interact with each other and a description of what you are trying to achieve e.g increase the level of a mic from its current level by 10dB when a. Is there another (simpler) way to achieve what i want? That's not very practical since i have to track every fader's positions to be sure that the start position is always the same as the end position of the previous cue. Right now, i use control change to do a time fade to a new fader position but i also have to set the start position of the fader. I need to create a fade from the last position of one fader to a new position. What i want is control some mikes's faders i have in MainStage. > I want to control MainStage with Qlab using Midi. > If you go back to Patrick's first post on the thread you will see what he is trying to do: On Friday, Ap3:04:28 PM UTC+1, Rich Walsh wrote: I can't see a way of doing that with MIDI.īy the way, it would be a lot easier to answer questions if you didn't delete everything that had gone before in the thread each time. I guess you're actually trying to do what absolute Fade Cues do – which is go to a destination from any given start point. In Live you can set the mode to "Relative (Signed Bit)", which will make the fader jump up in steps each time you send the CC 127, and down for CC 0 – but this still isn't going to do what you want. This is the only mechanism I can currently think of that stores just final value, not the journey to that value too (which MIDI CC must). Even with a Yamaha mixing desk the best you could hope for is a bunch of highly targeted scene memories that do fades to specific levels on specific faders. I can't think of a way of getting round the absolute relationship between CC value and fader position – you'll just need to make the effort to keep track of where you last faded to. No, it seems it doesn't work as advertised I guess because it assumes you can't have moved the hardware controller without sending MIDI – which is what QLab is effectively doing with a new cue. Maybe using control change is not the right way to do that? Any idea? Or i have to change the Midi cue and make it going down (127 to 0) but i'm almost back to square one that way, i have to look to previous midi cue before programming the next midi cue. For example if my MainStage fader is on 50 and the midi message send a fader movement from 0 to 20, the MainStage fader never move because it never cross 50. But also, even if that bug was solved, the problem is that it only works if the midi cue send a fader level that is in the range of the actual MainStage fader value. That's very odd and sounds like a bug to me. It seems that it only works if i have moved the fader with the mouse before using a midi cue. But if i send another midi cue again, the MainStage fader comes goes all down to 0 again before going up. The fader only move when it reaches the same value the fader was on MainStage. It works when i set a fader with the mouse on MainStage and then i send a Qlab Midi cue control change. I have tried that but it doesn't work so great. 24/7 free technical support for a lifetime too.Free lifetime free upgrade to the latest software version. You can use it to convert photos to slideshow, use the recorder to record movement on your screen.īecause of these limitations, it’s highly recommending you to get the pro version as you can enjoy the following benefits:.After that, the editing tools are disabled until you purchase the license.
